During our recent family road trip, we stayed at Althaus Vendeghaz for a night, and it turned out to be a practical choice. Traveling with two kids, we appreciated the ample space provided for our family of four. The common area was spacious and comfortable, which allowed us to unwind after a long day on the road. The location is convenient, just a short drive from Balaton Lake and towns along the Danube. We found ourselves exploring nearby fish soup restaurants, which became a highlight of our stay. The kids enjoyed the quiet environment, while we appreciated the modern amenities, including the well-equipped kitchen. One nice moment occurred after our stay when we encountered a tricky situation on the road to Dunaföldvár. After taking a wrong turn, we got stuck in mud. I reached out to the staff at Althaus, who were quick to assist us with a SUV pickup. Their kindness made a difference during our travels. Althaus Vendeghaz offers a family-friendly atmosphere that turns travel hiccups into cherished memories.
